Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on‑site position for a Service Technician based out of Modesto, CA. The Service Technician will inspect, service, repair, and calibrate industrial weighing equipment at customer locations and in the shop. Daily work includes troubleshooting mechanical and electronic issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
This role involves regular travel to customer sites, hands‑on field work, and direct interaction with clients. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly, and represents the company professionally in the field.
Qualifications- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose problems independently
- Comfortable working in the field at a variety of customer locations and job sites
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn and grow in the weighing and measurement industry
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, use tools safely, and follow safety protocols
- Technical training or prior field service experience is a plus, but not required. We are committed to training motivated individuals who want to build a long‑term career in this industry.
