Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyman HVAC Technician based in Modesto, CA. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Daily tasks will include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing system issues, and collaborating with team members to ensure safe, efficient operations. The role requires compliance with EPA standards and a thorough knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electricity, and associated safety protocols.
Qualifications- Experience and proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC systems and diagnosing technical issues
- Knowledge of plumbing systems with the ability to perform associated service and repair tasks
- Experience in preventive maintenance procedures to ensure optimal system performance
- EPA certification and understanding of environmental safety standards
- Strong understanding of electricity and its application in HVAC systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adhere to safety protocols
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship
- Trade school certification or equivalent work experience in HVAC systems preferred
