Job Title:
Ford Diesel & Automotive Master Technician###
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled
** Diesel & Automotive Master Technician
** to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior technicians. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.###
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel and automotive systems
* Perform advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, drive trains, braking systems, steering, suspension, HVAC, and emissions systems
* Service and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, turbochargers, and after-treatment systems (DPF, SCR, DEF)
* Use diagnostic tools, scan tools, and software to accurately identify vehicle issues
* Perform preventative maintenance and inspections according to manufacturer specifications
* Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices
* Stay current with new technology, tools, and manufacturer updates
* Follow shop policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations### Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred
* ASE Master Technician certification preferred (Diesel certifications a strong plus)
* 5+ years of hands-on experience as a diesel and/or automotive technician
* Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, electrical systems, and diagnostics
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins
* Valid driver’s license; CDL
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail### Skills & Competencies

* Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
* Time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
* Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
