This part‑time Security Officer position in Modesto, CA protects government facilities and other clients. The role involves routine patrols, incident response, and exceptional customer service.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, deterring security incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible for a secure atmosphere, and give outstanding customer service.

Part‑time

$18.00 per hour

Saturday: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Sunday: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior and reassure occupants.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports per Allied Universal standards.
• Collaborate with local authorities or site management during emergencies or incidents.
• Adhere to all company and site‑specific protocols while performing duties.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Employer may consider applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
