Overview
Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs. Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications. Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time). Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
Responsibilities- Although majority of time will be spent in activities that do not involve direct interaction with customers, engage with customers when the opportunity arises. Understand customers’ needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.

- Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by guiding them to areas of the store and walking them through projects as needed.
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers.
- Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
- Ensure in-stock levels and relocate or manage displays and product rotations per reset and project instructions.
- Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, return to manufacturer area, and sign off as defective.
- Verify buyback items are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping.
- Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and order replacements according to merchandising standards and planogram details.
- Ensure product pricing information is visible and accurate; resolve or replace missing pricing labels.
- Update/validate way finding and product location signage and maintain digital information store-wide.
- Ensure cross-merchandising, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately to drive add-on sales.
- Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale.
- Sort products to ensure correct location; merchandise to plantogram, price, color block and place plants as they arrive; prepare plant racks per plantogram for opening readiness.
- Maintain clean and safe stores; review, complete, and enter completion details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks, including photos when applicable.
- Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order; repair or replace as needed.
- Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes, including peg-hook items; remove trash and manage waste disposal; replace light bulbs and report maintenance issues as needed.
- Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly report to management and/or Asset Protection.
- Ensure housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) are followed to maintain cleanliness and organization of store areas.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including daily safety reviews and hazard logging.
- Adhere to safety requirements relevant to job duties (e.g., top stock safety, safety cables, aisle blockers, power equipment tether lines, spotters, safety devices).
- Operate store equipment as needed for the role/department (e.g., Zebra phone, paging systems, copiers, computers, CCTV, panel saw, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain point-of-sale signage and price changes; audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store; follow state guidelines on price changes.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirements, if applicable.
- 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
- 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
- 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment.
Pay Range: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
