Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a key part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store to be visually appealing, all while focusing on the in-store experience.
What
You'll Do
Provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages customers to return, demonstrating product knowledge and customer service skills.Maintain visual standards by covering the sales floor zone and ensuring assigned areas are well-presented.Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.Assist with planogram changes, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising mix.Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure store security.Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.What You'll Need
Previous retail experience, especially if you love music and pop culture.Strong customer service and sales skills.Minimum age of 16 years.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.Pay range: $16.50 - $18.15 an hour. Note that the final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
