Retail Sales Associate – Verizon

• Generate retail sales by leveraging a passion for cutting‑edge technology and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Identify and uncover customers’ needs through connection building and insightful questioning.
• Present product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions.
• Develop skills through ongoing training and up‑skilling in merchandising, inventory, and other operational functions.
• Grow the customer base via outbound calls and text messages to current Verizon customers interested in products and services.
• Engage with the community outside of the store, participating in off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events to expand the loyal customer base.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, including military experience if applicable.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule 4 weeks in advance).
• Openness to additional shifts for increased earnings (e.g., summer, November–December, peak vacation periods).

Even better if:

• Experience in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus up to $16,000 per year in individual commissions when sales goals are met. Top performers may earn an additional $14,500+ in commissions, resulting in total annual earnings of $65,000+ to $73,500+ depending on location, hours, and performance.
