Landscape Technician; Stormwater

Position: Landscape Technician (Stormwater)

Location: Modesto, CA

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Full Time, 40-55 hours per week (Monday-Friday, overtime opportunities)

Regional Travel: Required, typically 5-10 days per month (per diem $55 on travel days)

• Routine landscape maintenance and light repairs of stormwater systems and infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets).
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment.
• Travel from the shop to client sites locally and regionally using the company truck. Typical travel: 5-10 days per month (Mon-Fri).

• 1-2 years of experience with manual labor; outdoor experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to meet DOT interstate transportation requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and work in various weather conditions.
