Desktop Support Specialist; Automation

We are seeking a Desktop Operations & Automation Specialist to support end-user technology and help improve how desktop operations are managed through process improvement, automation, and AI-driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong IT foundation and an interest in AI agents and automation, without requiring deep technical expertise.

• Identify repetitive or manual desktop operations tasks and collaborate with IT and business teams to implement automation solutions.
• Support the design, testing, and rollout of automation scripts and AI-powered agents or bots.
• Assist with endpoint device preparation and deployment (Windows and macOS) using tools such as Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for hardware, software, and network issues and escalation of complex issues as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for automated systems and AI tools.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and project teams to ensure alignment with business goals and security standards.

• Experience in desktop support, IT operations, or a related role.
• Familiarity with automation concepts or tools such as Power Shell, Python, Power Automate, or RPA platforms.
• Interest in AI agent and bot technologies with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of networking, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 is a plus.

• Experience supporting automation or AI agent/bot initiatives.
• Ability to analyze workflows and suggest improvements.
• Two or more years of experience in a desktop support or end-user computing environment.
