Sterile Processing Coordinator; 3rd Shift to-Perm

Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rate: $30–$33/hour

Schedule: 40 hours/week | 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent

The Sterile Processing Coordinator leads day-to-day sterile processing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient workflows, and high-quality instrument reprocessing. This role supervises SPD staff, supports continuous improvement, and promotes a safe, compliant work environment.

• Supervise sterile processing technicians and coordinate shift coverage
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments
• Ensure compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, OSHA, and internal SOPs
• Conduct quality audits and maintain accurate documentation
• Train, mentor, and support SPD staff development
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical departments to meet operational goals
• Support inventory management, KPIs, and continuous quality improvement
• Promote infection control, safety, and customer service excellence

• 3+ years of sterile processing experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• CRCST certification (required)
• Strong knowledge of sterilization standards and infection control
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and timekeeping systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• CIS certification
• HSPA-CHL or other healthcare leadership certification
• College degree or 3+ years of leadership experience
