Allied Travel Careers  is working with Cross Country Allied to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Modesto, California, 95355!

As an outpatient speech-language pathologist, you ll help patients with swallowing, speaking, understanding and other speech-related tasks they need to function. Working in a rehab facility, nursing facility or other outpatient center, you ll review medical histories, develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, monitor patient progress and more. You ll play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured or disabled regain independence and quality of life.

• Review medical histories for patients in outpatient settings
• Develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans
• Assess and treat swallowing, communication, and cognitive-communication disorders
• Recommend equipment and support tools as needed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with rehabilitation teams to support patient goals

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a speech language pathologist in an outpatient setting
• Degree in relevant field
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Current state license
