Shift Details:
- 10-hour Night Shifts
- 8-hour Day and Evening Shifts
Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services and/or designee, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for providing radiological care to patients of all ages for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders using ionizing radiation. The candidate must have a working knowledge of conventional Radiology, be able to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS, and prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures.
Patient education is also a key responsibility. Proven competency in conventional radiography is required, along with working knowledge in at least one other area such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology, if applicable. The role may require taking call.
