Position Summary:

Performed and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.

• Perform and monitor echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures.
• Calculate, measure, and document values on tests performed for physician review and interpretation.
• Communicate changes in patients clinical condition to physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate while patients undergo echocardiography.

• Completion of a formal accredited Cardiovascular Sonography/Echocardiography Tech program.
• 1+ years of experience preferred as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular (inpatient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent), adult and geriatric patients.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire.
• If registered with ARDMS, RDCS is required.
• If registered with CCI, RCS is required.
• Vascular Certification is preferred.

Compensation: $40.75 - $54.78 hourly. Individual wages are determined based upon factors including qualifications and experience.
