Position Summary

We are seeking a full‑time Experienced Financial Aid Specialist to join the Paul Mitchell Schools team in Modesto, CA. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $20–$25 and a supportive, growth‑oriented workplace.

• Assist students and families with financial aid planning, documentation, and federal and state grant and loan applications.
• Conduct thorough file inspections, provide personalized guidance, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Build and maintain comprehensive support materials and cross‑train peers to ensure consistent service quality.
• Collaborate with faculty to promote awareness of financial aid resources and student success.
• Use computer and data entry skills to process applications efficiently.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer and data entry skills, ability to multitask, and experience coaching others.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong work history with verifiable references.
• Contracting experience is preferred.
• Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to honesty and professionalism.
