The Hourly Range: $78.15 to $124.94
Doctorate Range: $92.09 to $128.22
Part Time Faculty office Hours are paid at a flat rate of $30 per hour.

Under the general supervision of the Division Dean for the discipline, the successful applicant will provide lecture and/or laboratory instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules; evaluate progress of students; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other related duties as assigned. The successful candidate will join an Arts, Science and Human Performance department that continues to create curriculum responsive to student needs, increasing student completion through the implementation of strategies geared to increase student equity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communication, communication studies, speech communication or organizational communication OR Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in drama/theater arts, mass communication or English OR the equivalent. • Education and/or experience in teaching in Communication Studies at the community college level, with emphasis in basic skills.
• Current knowledge of the Communication Studies subject.
