Dentist (Healthcare)

Dentist

At Lumira Healthcare formerly Livingston Community Health, dentistry is a vital part of our mission to deliver whole-person care with dignity, compassion, and quality. We're a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) rooted in California's Central Valley, providing comprehensive dental and medical services to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and needs.

Why Join Us

Work alongside a Mission-Driven Dental team (Dentists, 2 Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienist) and enjoy a manageable patient schedule (Intensive procedures in the morning with quick follow ups in the afternoon). Be part of a patient-centered medical home where you can deliver quality dental care, education, and expertise to those who need it the most. Enjoy autonomy, support, and collaboration in a community-based, federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting.

Choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle; full-time or part-time will be considered, no weekends, after hours, or call required, plus, enjoy a 1-hour lunch with a closed office.

What You'll Do
  • Provide General and Preventative Dentistry to all age groups (fillings, simple restorative work, straight-forward extractions).
  • Local referrals for complex cases like crowns, implants, and root canals.
  • Perform accurate assessment and evaluation of dental health and diagnostics, diagnose common dental conditions, and create appropriate treatment plans.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and maintaining society memberships.
Who You Are
  • A California-licensed Dentist with active DEA registration and CPR Certificate.
  • A graduate of an accredited Dental program (DDS or DMD).
  • Passionate about working with diverse, underserved populations in a community-based setting.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with Preventative and General Dentistry in a community-based setting.
  • Spanish-speaking proficiency (or another language spoken by our patient population) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.

If you're a dentist seeking a fulfilling opportunity where you can balance clinical excellence with real community impact, apply today.
