Job SummaryThe Sourcing Manager is responsible for researching, collecting, and sourcing of enterprise-wide related goods and services. This position is required to manage all purchasing activities and establishes strategic purchasing processes and procedures. The position maintains relationships with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for major purchases. The position evaluates and analyzes purchasing trend and price trend to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities- Generate and implement efficient Goods Not For Resale sourcing strategies as well as other strategic sourcing opportunities
- Support the sourcing process by coordinating and drafting specifications, selection criteria, questionnaires, contract schedules and documentation to ensure that the most appropriate supplier selection is achieved in accordance with policy guidelines
- Support the Procurement and Sourcing team in identifying new and innovated procurement opportunities by providing reports, data analysis and engagement with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the supplier expenditure is appropriately challenged and managed
- Perform cost savings calculations and analysis for strategic sourcing events, to include pre-event and post-event cost expenditures; recommends the best course of action for the company
- Perform analysis and compiles data regarding the overall costs of products
- Develop negotiation strategies and secures profitable deals; estimates risks and applies risk minimizing techniques, researches and anticipates shifts in the negotiation power of suppliers
- Performs cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
- Compose information for internal and external stakeholders regarding requests for information
- Research and partner with trustworthy vendors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Proven work experience in sourcing and (or) procurement
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
- Strong project management and leadership
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and will be required to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in sourcing strategy and product specifications
- Team-oriented with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word)
- Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions
Four-year college degree or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience
