We are a vitamin manufacturing company looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Modesto, CA.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year. This is a permanent, full‑time position offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our company's financial operations.

Responsibilities

Preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Performing cost accounting tasks, including monitoring and analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing budget reports, and making recommendations for cost reduction strategies.

Conducting inventory audits and reconciliations, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of our materials and finished goods.

Preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables to analyze financial data and generate reports.

Working with our SAP system to manage financial transactions and generate reports.

Collaborating with the Senior Accountant and other team members on various projects, providing your expertise and insights to help drive our company's financial success.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.

Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices, with experience as a Cost Accountant being a significant advantage.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all aspects of your work.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of our organization.
