POSITION AVAILABLE:

School Social Worker or School Counselor

POSITION LOCATION:

Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC), with placement at the ELC Marshall in Marshall, MN.

MAJOR

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

School Social Worker

Works with families and/or children that have emotional, social, personal or family issues that are interfering with achievement or personal well-being.

School Counselor

Responsible for individual student counseling and group guidance functions by encouraging students to obtain the optimum in educational, vocational, and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS School Social Worker

• Bachelor's degree required.

• MN licensure as School Social Worker from Department of Education and MN Board of Social Work.

• Must have good organizational skills and ability to interact with multiple agencies.

School Counselor

• Master's degree required.

• Must be eligible for or hold MN licensure as School Counselor from Department of Education.

SALARY/CONTRACT

185-day contract for the  school year to begin on August 4, 2026.

• Bachelor's salary ranges from $54,477 to $74,870.

• Master's salary ranges from $64,965 to $96,796.
All dependent on education, qualifications, abilities, and experience. This role includes benefits.
