Seeking Licensed Electrician for manufacturing facility in Mobile, AL.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:00PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $36.00/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. This role requires working independently and troubleshooting electrical issues in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions, using testing devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
  • Replace faulty wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in emergency repairs and be available for on-call support when required.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Licensed electrician (preferred but not required, depending on state regulations).
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience with various tools and equipment such as wire strippers, voltmeters, and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal electrical training or apprenticeship.

Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.
