Industrial Electrician - $35-$42/hr Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.

• Receive and interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC based equipment, focusing on maintenance and upgrades.
• Utilize ladder logic, electrical prints, and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Work with AC/DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, and electronic controls.
• Bend and run rigid conduit ranging from 0.5 to 2 inches.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment, including presses and machines.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure ongoing functionality of tools and equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and repair.

• Five years of experience in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use computer‑based software to complete job tasks.
• Troubleshooting skills for PLC based equipment and various electrical components.
• Proficiency in print reading, drawing interpretation, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Proper use of tools and measuring devices with a strong emphasis on safety.

• High School Diploma.
• 3-5 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience using multi‑meters and working with 3‑phase motors.

Work in a non‑climate controlled environment, experiencing variable temperatures throughout the year. PPE is required at all times. Operate on a swing shift of four 12‑hour shifts, rotating between days and nights, in teams of electricians and millwrights.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOBILE, AL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
