Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for a part-time Unarmed Security Officer. The Unarmed Security Officer secures the facility under established operating procedures and processes.

• Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd and/or some 12-hour shifts when necessary;
  Weekend & Holidays included.
• Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches.
• Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations, and suspicious activities.
• Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate action.
• Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence.
• Perform crowd control as required.
• Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as required.
• Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures.
• Staff post continuously and provide access control.
• Control access to restricted areas as required.
• Report violations.
• Direct and provide information to visitors.
• Safeguard all assets.
• Provide assistance as required.
• Escort persons and equipment as needed.
• Conduct foot/vehicle patrols as required.
• Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance.
• Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs.
• Secure all exterior building doors and windows.
• Be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as entrance/exit posts, roving posts, traffic posts, etc.

• High school diploma/GED.
• Some College or Associates Degree Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to receive an Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB)
• Must be able to pass a Background Investigation.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen.
• Must be able to pass a Physical Exam.
