The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable growth by developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and consistently generating new business. This role is relationship‑focused, solutions‑driven, and accountability‑based
—ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, helping customers solve real problems, and owning their results.
This position works closely with inside sales, operations, and leadership to ensure customers receive the right solution, delivered the right way

- Consistently generate a pipeline of qualified leads
- Research and identify potential customers using networking, referrals, and outreach
- Conduct regular prospecting via in‑person visits, phone calls, email, and CRM tools
- Track activities, leads, and opportunities accurately in the CRM
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Conduct regular customer visits, product demos, and solution‑focused discussions
- Actively listen to customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
- Follow up promptly on quotes, questions, and service needs to ensure retention and growth
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑discipline, initiative, and comfort working independently in the field
- Ability to analyze opportunities and think strategically about accounts
- Consistent follow‑through and personal accountability
- Coachable mindset and willingness to learn products, industries, and systems
- Outside sales experience preferred (Hydraulic, industrial, construction, MRO, or B2B a plus)
- Comfortable with CRM systems and basic sales reporting
- Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn technical products is a strong plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
