Hourly rate: $13.50 to $16.50 per hour.
Commission: Earn up to 8% on transactions, potentially $1.00 per hour above base rate. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

Seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Associates greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive, professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions, handling a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items with established procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partner with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully complete all assigned training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms‑certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of their performance. Details provided during the interview process.
