• Lead Team Member general summary: help maintain a clean, well-organized store and foster a customer-first culture through exceptional store standards. Duties include assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Team Leader to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.
• Perform duties of a Team Member and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.

• Provide superior customer service to exceed the customer’s expectations.
• Model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized store environment.
• Assist in merchandising the store to create appealing displays and maintain customer excitement.
• Rotate product to create eye-catching displays and drive sales using merchandising guidelines.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities to provide a superior shopping experience.
• Maintain store condense and reset standards to provide a clutter-free customer experience.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in SOPs, Employee Handbook, and communications.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions; assist customers with purchases and self-checkout.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Team Leader in the absence of the leader.
• Additional duties as necessary in the absence of the Store Team Leader.

• Knowledge and
  
  Skills:
  
  effective interpersonal and communication skills; understanding of safety policies and practices; ability to read and follow planograms; basic math; cash handling knowledge.
• Experience:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Physical/
  
  Working Conditions:
  
  frequent walking and standing; ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 55 pounds occasionally; occasional climbing; ability to drive to the bank for deposits; fast-paced environment; occasional exposure to outside weather and cleaning solutions.
