Material Flow Technician

Mobile, AL

In this role, you will:

  • Operate lift trucks and other machinery within the plant.

  • Be committed to 2 years of service before being eligible to transfer to another department.

  • Complete training programs to gain technical proficiency.

  • Obtain knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for improving the effective manufacture of goods.

  • Maintain work areas and equipment to keep them clean of debris and product.

  • Be responsible to login daily to input, update, and interpret data in multiple computer software systems.

  • Receive cross-training as needed in other areas.

  • Safely operate equipment and adhere to safety standards.

  • Flow to work and provide support where needed in this High-Performance Work System.

In one of our manufacturing roles, youll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.

  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.

  • Can read and write basic English, have basic math skills and intermediate computer skills with functional proficiency in Microsoft Office and mechanical aptitude.

  • Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, work at heights and wear PPE as designated, including respiratory protection.

  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.

  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening and pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)

  • Understand and follow safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse environment is a plus, but not necessary.

  • Lift truck or other machinery experience.

  • Formal safety training and strong safety record is a plus.
