POSITION SUMMARYBorden Dairy is seeking an adaptable, dependable, and detail‑oriented professional to join our team as a Trailer Loader. The Trailer Loader performs a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role involves frequent heavy lifting and physical activity in varying environmental conditions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Load, unload, stack, and transport ingredients and finished goods manually or using equipment.
- Sort, bundle, and package materials or products as needed.
- Transfer finished products between work areas or storage locations using manual methods or vehicles.
- Label and mark product loads for identification and tracking.
- Record stock movements and inventory changes accurately.
- Monitor materials, products, and equipment throughout the process and report any issues or irregularities to the supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual skills beneficial). Must be able to interpret documents such as:
- Chemical Labels
- Safety Rules
- Operating Instructions
- Procedure Manuals
- Ability to understand and follow safe handling procedures for food‑grade materials.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record data.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and understand chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food‑grade materials.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record data.
- Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts (day, evening, night).
- Full-time, part‑time, and shift work may be available based on business needs.
- Weekend availability may be required.
- Work may involve extended periods in cold or refrigerated environments.
- Appropriate work and safety gear must be worn at all times.
- Some roles may involve heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Completion of required paperwork and adherence to safety protocols is expected.
