• Supervise the general maintenance, construction, and repair of various facilities and furnishings in public buildings

• Oversee and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors

• Graduation from a standard senior high school or completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test
• Completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program in the building construction field
• Minimum of five years of general building construction and maintenance experience at the supervisory level
• Ability to meet established medical and physical standards for the job
• Accuracy and truthfulness in the application process

• Experience in public facilities maintenance or management
• Additional certifications related to building maintenance or construction
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
