Facilities Manager

The Alliant Enegy Center has an excellent opportunity for a person with the requiste experience. The Alliant Energy Center is expected to undergo significant redevelopment projects over the next decade and this position will play a critical role in those projects. here's an opportunity to not only be part of the most extensive redevelopment project in Dane County, but you will have input on how the project develops.

Under general supervision of the Executive Director, the Facilities Manager – AEC is responsible for the facility maintenance and management of all Alliant Energy Center facilities and equipment. Oversees all capital planning,budgeting, and execution, including project management for all capital projects on the AEC campus. Providessupervision of all Facilities staff to include groundskeepers, mechanics, mechanical repair workers, electricians,steamfitters and other trades.

Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree/certificate, vocational trainingor apprenticeship in a skilled building trade or construction management and five (5) years of experience in facilities operations at a multipurpose facility (e.g., stadium, arena, event center, etc.), or a high-population, multi-facility campus,including managing capital projects. The mentioned years of experience must include at least two (2) years oflead/supervisory experience and at least two (2) years of experience managing capital projects and capital budgeting.
