Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced, highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join a top-tier litigation firm in Mobile, Alabama. This role supports attorneys throughout all phases of complex civil litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation. We're looking for a candidate with a strong civil litigation background who excels in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Salary ranges from $60K to $90K+, depending on years of legal experience and company benefits.

Litigation Paralegal |
Location:
Mobile, Alabama. Responsible for supporting attorneys in complex civil litigation from case inception through trial, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Draft and manage legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files from inception through trial
- Assist attorneys in deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
- Manage and analyze large volumes of discovery materials, including medical records, expert reports, and evidentiary exhibits
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, client meetings, and expert consultation
- Prepare trial binders, witness files, and exhibit lists
- Assist with jury research and courtroom logistics during trial
- Maintain and manage litigation calendars and deadlines
- Liaise with clients, experts, vendors, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Minimum 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a plaintiff's firm or complex litigation environment
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation support software
- Familiarity with Alabama and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
- Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and client service
