Banquet Captain / Supervisor – Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Banquet Captain/Supervisor to supervise banquet events, ensuring superior service and seamless execution for our guests.

• Consult with the Banquet Manager on serving arrangements, staffing needs, and equipment requirements.
• Supervise banquet staff in setting up, serving, and breaking down all events, ensuring efficient and professional execution.
• Maintain open and clear communication with guests and meeting planners to promptly address needs and changes.
• Coordinate with the Banquet Chef to ensure smooth flow of food from kitchen to table.
• Check‑in servers, assign stations, and communicate pre‑assigned function side work duties.
• Inspect table settings to ensure correct placement and cleanliness.
• Arrange buffet tables and other food service stations for catering functions.
• Check servers out at end of events; ensure cleanliness of function rooms, aisles, and storage areas.
• Conduct server training as needed to maintain a well‑trained Banquet staff.
• Directly supervise up to 30 associates, including training, planning, assigning work, and providing support.
• Extend and total the check accurately and obtain host's signature.
• Train and develop backup personnel for the Banquet Captain position.
• Report gratuities per company guidelines and federal regulations.
• Observe and comply with alcohol service regulations as set by the ABC board.
