We have Full‑Time Housekeeper and EVS Tech positions open at a beautiful hospital facility in Mobile, AL.

$12.50 per hour.

Provides daily housekeeping services to patients, ensuring a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.

• Provides daily housekeeping duties as assigned per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Clears floors using dust mop, wet mop, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Clears movable and stationary furnishings.
• Clears fixtures including restrooms, light fixtures, and water fountains.
• Dusters and disinfects horizontal surfaces.
• Removes trash and cleans/disinfects waste containers.
• Sanitizes restrooms in resident rooms and public spaces.
• Maintains public spaces such as corridors, stairwells, elevators, waiting rooms, and lobby.
• Maintains equipment and work areas as directed by the Manager.
• Disposes of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with policies.
• Applies federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
• Participates in in‑service educational programs.
• Adheres to safety codes at all times.
• Understands fire and disaster plans and follows procedures during drills and emergencies.
• Performs other departmental duties as assigned.

• Verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, residents, family members, and the public.
• Motor coordination and manual dexterity required for equipment use.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions; flexible work hours.
• Patience and tolerance toward staff, residents, and family members.

Lifting up to 40 lbs; frequent bending and lifting; exposure to odors, falls, burns, and infectious materials.

Stands, walks, reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries items, and works with cleaning agents; must be free of infection.

Hourly position with days, evenings, some weekends, and holidays.

• Read, write, and speak English.
• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum one year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting (desired).
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and infection prevention.

Not applicable.

First shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Second shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Weekends & holidays required.
