Responsibilities
Communicates with customers and/or health care professionals to gather personal, demographic, financial, insurance and equipment information required to complete registration for outpatient, inpatient or equipment services, medical records, and insurance certification, verification, and billing/claim submission.
Minimum Qualifications- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Excellent communication and keyboarding skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Knowledge of insurance certification requirements
- Working knowledge of healthcare registration procedures
