Safety & Security Dispatcher - Providence

Monitors and communicates need for security services throughout assigned area(s); manages and responds to calls and/or alarms and initiates immediate response; coordinates and/or dispatches staff in response to requests for service; retrieves recorded documentation as required; monitors the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications; initiates communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assists with resolution of those issues;

may be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
