Overview
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

The Staff Psychologist deals with extremely complex diagnostic and therapeutic questions involving patient care. The Staff Psychologist must recognize deficits and problems which may be encountered in a diverse patient population with varying and complex medical and/or psychological problems in achieving satisfactory psychological adjustment. The ultimate psychological rehabilitation of patients depends upon the functions of this position. The Staff Psychologist ensures that all Healthcare System patients referred for psychological evaluation and/or treatment are provided appropriate services in a comprehensive, unified manner, and on a timely basis.
