Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian (FT, PT or PRN hours) to join the Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center in Charleston, SC.

Inpatient

Mon-Fri with rotating weekends

Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensed by the state dietetics board where required.

$61,500 – $70,000 (based on Payscale)

• Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Comply with federal, state, accrediting agencies, HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
• One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
