Eye Care Educator – Syneos Health

This role is focused on educating Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on critical eye examinations for patients with relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) and empowering them to effectively communicate results to patients and the Hem/Oncology teams.

• Educate Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) on essential eye exams for patients—highlighting their importance—and provide clear, actionable guidance for communicating results to patients and Hem/Oncology teams.
• Deliver tailored educational materials that equip Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) with a thorough understanding of critical patient care procedures.
• Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers and the Medical team to ensure seamless communication of product‑related information, including REMS details, in alignment with FDA guidance.
• Provide support for care coordination as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree (4‑year BA/BS).
• 3+ years in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with a focus on oncology or specialized medical education.
• Alternatively, 1–3 years of direct clinical oncology experience, including oncology education, patient care, and interaction with physicians.
• Advanced communication skills: the ability to clearly explain complex oncology concepts to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and other key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Skilled in developing and delivering product‑specific training and educational materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively across all levels of management and departments.

• Specialty pharmacy or payer experience is preferred.
• CRN, NPs, PAs with eye‑care experience is highly preferred.
