Credit Balance Specialist

A company is looking for a Credit Balance Specialist in Patient Accounting.

Key Responsibilities Analyze accounts receivable credit balances for accuracy and determine necessary adjustments or refunds Manage credit balance reports and external correspondence related to over payments Communicate and document issues with insurance payers and maintain files for resolution

Required Qualifications High school degree or GED is required Minimum of two years experience in insurance follow-up, billing, and collections One year of experience in a medical facility or claims processing preferred Computer literate Ability to work closely with co-workers
