Overview
A company is looking for a Principal Accountant (Revenue Analyst) to support revenue and revenue recognition processes.
Responsibilities- Accountable for calculations of deferred and accrued revenue, and sales credit reserves
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations according to the monthly close schedule
- Analyze revenue metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure compliance
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience with a focus on Revenue Recognition
- Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance is required
- CPA preferred with knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with Right Revenue, Workday, and Sales Force is beneficial but not necessary
