Overview
Reports To: SVP of Finance & Project Management
Summary:
The Financial Analyst focuses on preparing, analyzing, and reporting for multiple departments within the Organization. Experience with leveraging technology (Excel, ERP, Data Visualization Tools) to automate reporting and strengthen internal controls is required. Identifying, designing, and implementing workflows, and optimizing systems is a key function of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Additional duties as assigned.
- Financial Modeling & Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to interpret and report financial data, identify trends, and develop models to support business decision-making.
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Enhance financial operations through rigorous analysis and process redesign to boost efficiency and accuracy. Review existing financial and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Implementing Improvements: Design, test, and implement new, optimized financial procedures and workflows to enhance productivity.
- Project Management &
Collaboration:
Support cross-functional projects to implement improvements, ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct regular reviews of implemented changes, and present findings to management.
- Audit & Compliance: Ensure that updated processes adhere to accounting standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly valued.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
- 5+ years in Operational and Financial Analytics
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, data visualization tools, and ERP systems.
