The Islamic Academy of Alabama is seeking a dedicated, passionate individual to join our team as a full-time 3rd grade teacher. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education or a related field, experience working with children and a passion for teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand the Alabama State English First Grade Standards and establish clear learning targets for every lesson.
- Implement rigorous and aligned lessons and assessments and consistently implement high leverage practices.
- Build a productive classroom culture to promote a growth mindset.
- Consistently develop strong relationships with students and parents while diligently relaying expectations, news, and/or concerns.
- Actively participate in professional learning opportunities.
