Summary
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for assessing potentially hazardous workplace exposures by analyzing data and making recommendations to mitigate risk exposure to co-workers. This position may be either project or region based. Perpetuates the IIF culture.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe Safety Coordinator will possess competency in the following areas to perform the role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. The listed areas describe the general nature and level of work; they are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions.
- Analyzes Safety Data to Improve the Work Environment
- Recommends Safety Training
- Responsible for Record Retention
- Performs Administrative Functions
- Supports IIF Efforts
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma and 4 years of construction experience.
- Must have OSHA 30 hour certification.
