About the PositionThe company is seeking an experienced Travelling Superintendent to serve as a key on-site leader for a large-scale manufacturing facility in Mobile, AL. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on a fast-paced, highly complex project.
The Travelling Superintendent will work closely with project management, trade partners, and client representatives to drive field execution and maintain the company’s high standards of performance. This role requires the ability to travel and remain on-site for extended durations based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities Include- Leading all field construction activities for a large-scale manufacturing project
- Enforcing site safety programs and maintaining a zero-incident culture
- Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
- Managing project schedules, sequencing, and daily work plans
- Ensuring work is performed in accordance with contract documents, plans, and specifications
- Conducting daily site walks and quality control inspections
- Resolving field issues and maintaining productivity across multiple trades
- Communicating regularly with project leadership and client representatives
- Experience
: 10+ years of superintendent experience with a general contractor - Project Experience
:- Large-scale manufacturing, industrial, or mega-project construction
- Experience on projects exceeding $250M strongly preferred
- Leadership Skills
:
Proven ability to lead large field teams in a fast-track environment - Technical Expertise
:
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, means and methods, and field logistics - Travel Requirements

Willingness and ability to travel and remain project-based for the duration of the assignment - Education

Construction-related education or equivalent field experience
