Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Logistics Services Manager to join our team in Mobile, AL
.

In this role you will be the primary bridge between the company and the third‑party warehousing service provider. You will oversee end‑to‑end contract execution and ensure the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) meets all performance, financial, and compliance benchmarks that support Final Assembly Line operations within the U.S. Manufacturing Site in Mobile. The LSM is the primary leader responsible for driving LSP contracted performance for all single‑aisle program materials and ensuring on‑time delivery of material to each associated Flowline.

The LSM is also the focal point for interpreting, defining, drafting and editing policy and change requests to LSP contractual documents.

The Procurement team acquires indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, generating value and contributing to overall competitiveness. Team members ensure on‑time delivery and quality of equipment and systems, drawing on expertise in Industrial, Operations & Quality Management and strong relationship‑building skills to problem‑solve and proactively mitigate supply chain issues.

• Oversee LSP contracts and performance and manage inventory operations in excess of $25M (40%).
• Accountable for LSP compliance with regulatory obligations and representing local Airbus Logistics Operations; link to OTOL for EU alignment.
• Monitor & manage LSP operations ensuring accurate warehouse inventory in excess of $25M.
• Extract contractual data sets and KPIs from systems, present results to senior leadership, and use data to drive LSP performance.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met in a timely manner and operational KPIs achieved.
• Support all required standards for service contract, including presentation of AOP, change proposals, non‑performance claims, and provisions in conjunction with EU and local leadership teams.
• Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues, facilitate savings discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.

• Interface with Procurement Team in EU for contractual disputes, claims, and additional requirements based on risk assessments.
• Engage operational program stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving performance requirements, contract standards, and cost targets.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize financial losses and benefit US Manufacturing Site Mobile’s financial performance.
• Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.
• Review contractual performance of LSP to ensure compliance with terms and identify conflicts or changes for contract renewal.
• Draft change proposals based on strategy, rate increases, scope changes, senior management input, and organizational needs.
• Coordinate with Planning and Logistics Operations teams to ensure contracts provide sufficient capacity to meet forecasted demand and establish supplier scorecards and recognition programs.
