- Execute category strategy and implementation plans as directed by the Regional Category Lead
- Identify and manage relationships with regional suppliers to ensure effective collaboration
- Support the development and execution of the Mill Services category strategy and sourcing events
- Monitor supplier performance indicators and conduct supplier reviews to drive improvement
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication and problem resolution
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related discipline strongly preferred; or 3+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Procurement, with preferred experience in category management
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Proven project management, process improvement, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a heavily matrixed organization and onsite at the mill 3 days per week
- Experience in category management within a procurement role
- Familiarity with supply chain dynamics and market analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with suppliers
- Ability to navigate and influence within a complex organizational structure
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
