Loan Servicing
Ensures accurate and timely filing of loan collateral Title and UCC registrations in compliance with applicable regulations. Responsible for ongoing tracking of collateral documents and insurance policies. Processes paid-off loans and releases collateral. Provides superior service in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities /Job Duties:
- Processes Titles and UCC registrations accurately and efficiently.
- Communicates with dealers and/or customers when additional information is required.
- Maintains up-to-date tracking of collateral documents.
- Monitors insurance policies to ensure sufficient collateral coverage is in force.
- Processes paid-off loans and releases collateral.
- Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
- Participates in and complete all required compliance training, including BSA/AML, as well as other internal and external training programs.
- Participates in training new teammates as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year previous Title Clerk experience preferred.
- General knowledge and understanding of finance lending.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within time limits.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday, when needed.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require the ability to lift files, bend, reach, walk or maneuver around the bank. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
