Overview
Fit is working with a reputable client seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized accounting professional. This candidate will support local restaurant/hospitality operations with administrative, clerical, and cost control responsibilities. Salary is in the $60K -$70K range + benefits.
Responsibilities- Track food and beverage costs, vendor invoices, and purchasing records
- Assist in inventory control, waste tracking, and monthly cost reporting
- Support menu costing and provide data insights for pricing strategies
- Post daily sales from our point of sale system
- Partner with chefs and management to streamline systems and improve cost efficiency
- Maintain clear records for audits, vendor communication, and compliance
- Support general office tasks related to the culinary and purchasing team
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting (or other related field)
- Can navigate spreadsheets, invoices, and inventory systems like a pro
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory/purchasing systems
- Experience with Toast point of sale system is preferred
