CNC​/Edgebanding Machine Operator

• Operate CNC routers and edge banding machines to produce high-quality cabinet components to specification.
• Load and unload materials, monitor machine operation, and adjust settings as needed for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before moving them to the next stage of production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Report any machine malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor immediately.

• Proficient in operating CNC routers and edgebanders.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Familiarity with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Homag, or SCM CNC and edge banding equipment.
• Understanding of cabinet construction methods and woodworking terminology.
• Knowledge of basic programming and setup for CNC machinery.
• Forklift certification or experience handling sheet goods.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience operating CNC and/or edge banding machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
