Class A CDL Truck Driver – Asphalt Mix Hauling Location

Job located in Huron, South Dakota

Asphalt Paving & Materials Company is a heavy highway paving contractor operating throughout South Dakota. We are seeking motivated and dependable drivers to support our mix hauling operations
, transporting hot mix asphalt to active project sites.

Our mix hauling operations are historically based out of Huron and De Smet, South Dakota
.

$28.47 per hour

• 1 Week Paid Vacation

• $150 Per Week Per Diem

• On-the-Job Training

• Operate a Class A CDL truck to haul hot mix asphalt to project locations.

• Perform daily pre-trip inspections of truck and trailer and report any issues to your supervisor.

• Maintain your assigned truck and report malfunctions promptly.

• Track daily work locations and fuel usage on time tickets.

• Communicate with other drivers regarding road conditions or hazards.

• Follow all company policies and government transportation regulations.

• Safely operate equipment while protecting yourself, coworkers, and the traveling public.

• Hook and unhook trailers and secure loads when hauling equipment or materials.

• Assist mechanics with minor repairs when needed (changing tires, tarp repairs, etc.).

• Keep truck interior and exterior clean and organized.

• Represent the company in a professional manner on and off the job site.

• Arrive to work on time and ready to work.

• Valid Class A CDL

• Ability to pass required safety and compliance checks
