Fulfillment Night Shift Lead

The Warehouse/Fulfillment Night Shift Lead supports the Night Shift Supervisor in overseeing warehouse operations during night hours. This role assists with coordinating order fulfillment across Marketplace, E-Commerce, and Wholesale channels while helping maintain efficiency, safety, and workflow organization.

The Night Shift Lead also serves as the backup key holder and acting shift leader when the Night Shift Supervisor is unavailable, ensuring that nightly operations continue smoothly and that operational standards are maintained.

• Fulfillment & Warehouse Operations
• Assist in coordinating nightly order fulfillment for Marketplace, E-Commerce, and Wholesale channels.
• Help ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped according to daily operational goals.
• Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or issues encountered during the shift.
• Assist with restock, returns processing, and replenishment tasks when required.
• Help maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with operational standards.

• Shift Support & Team Coordination
• Support the Night Shift Supervisor in guiding and assisting night shift associates.
• Help assign and monitor tasks to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Provide on-floor guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a positive, safe, and accountable team environment.
• Help adjust workflow when staffing shortages or call-outs occur.
• Serve as the backup key holder for facility access and security procedures.
• Act as the shift leader when the Night Shift Supervisor is absent, ensuring workflow continuity.
• Monitor operations and escalate major issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain operational oversight to ensure productivity goals are met.

• Floor-Level Problem Solving
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues such as inventory discrepancies, order exceptions, or equipment issues.
• Help identify workflow bottlenecks and communicate them to the supervisor or management.
• Ensure packing stations, scanners, and warehouse equipment remain operational.

• Communication & Reporting Support
• Assist with documenting operational issues that occur during the shift.
• Communicate important updates or problems to the Night Shift Supervisor or management.
• Help ensure a smooth handoff between shifts when required.

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations.
• Prior team lead, senior associate, or supervisory support experience preferred.
• Experience in order fulfillment environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse workflows including picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and inventory control.
• Ability to coordinate and guide team members while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational issues quickly during night shift operations.
• Good communication and leadership skills to support team coordination and shift operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust workflow based on operational needs or staffing changes.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, barcode scanners, and shipping software.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, inventory systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment during night shifts.
• Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and scanning devices.
• High level of dependability and accountability, especially for night operations.
• Eligible to serve as a backup key holder for the facility.
• Ability to act as shift leader when the Night Shift Supervisor is absent.
